IRC-elf Motorcycle Mag. Road Racing Championship 2015
It will be a full day of top motorcycle racing at Bira International Racing Circuit on Friday 16th October
If you haven’t visited Bira before this will be a great day out, especially if you want to get close to the action and get your photo taken with the top riders and the Bira girls too. (The Bira girls are very friendly and drop dead gorgeous!)
There are regular racing events at Bira Circuit, which first opened in 1985 including the South East Asia Touring Car Zone Challenge (SEATCZC) and the Asian Formula 2000 (AF2000).
Bira Circuit is the only FIA certified racetrack in Thailand and is named after the famous Prince Bira, the first and only driver to race in Formula One. Facilities at the circuit include a full-service karting track, an off-road test track and the recently renovated FIA certified 2.41 km racetrack.
The racing site covers 164 rai (65 acres) with facilities for rally car races, formula series events and international level kart racing. Bira is conveniently located on Highway 36 between Pattaya and Rayong, which is 20 km from central Pattaya and 120 km from Bangkok. Travel time from Bangkok via the Chonburi motorway (toll highway) is about one and half hours.
