Naklua 6th Annual Market
“A Walk to Remember” is this years’ Naklua Annual Market theme. It’s the sixth anniversary of this successful seasonal event and runs from 21st November until 10th January. The market is held on Saturdays and Sundays from 17:00 until 22:00 at Naklua old market, in front of the GSB Bank.
Pattaya City hosts this annual event as a part of the sustainable tourism project which translates to English as “The 6th Walk to remembrance at Naklua Market Pattaya 2015”.
The market is a colourful and vibrant coming together of many local people and tourists too. There are many stalls along the old market road selling local food, fresh seafood, clothes, gifts and many, many things! There’s a live music stage and even Thai cooking demonstrations, which is quite the highlight of the weekend market.
If you really want to experience the flavour of a traditional Thai street market, the Naklua Annual Market sets the right feel with style. If you are a photography enthusiast, it’s also a perfect opportunity for you to capture some excellent street photography pictures.
Naklua is a more laid back than Pattaya, here you can still find tourist attractions, but it’s a nice change from the bar scene, take your time, browse and soak up the atmosphere.
