Pattaya Countdown 2016 December
This year’s Pattaya Countdown event begins on Tuesday 29th December.
As in previous years this fabulous gathering of people from across the city and beyond is to be held at Bali Hai, literally underneath the famous Pattaya sign near the end of Walking Street.
The largest Christmas tree in Pattaya creates a wonderful centre piece and attraction for everyone to see here, this was officially lit up on Christmas Day. There is also a full sized concert stage with super sound system, lighting show and professional film crew. The event is televised across the Kingdom.
Every night there will be fireworks, with the biggest display at midnight on the 31st.
Pattaya Countdown is one of the city’s biggest events of the year and is a big tourist attraction too. It is very well organized and if you are in Pattaya over these 3 nights, it’s well worth attending, especially on New Year’s Eve when the atmosphere will be electric!
It is advised to travel by taxi and leave plenty of time to get there. There will be thousands of people at the Countdown, along Beach Road and on Walking Street.
