Music and art fans are in for a treat when Wonderfruit, a cross-cultural music and arts festival returns to Pattaya from December 14-17.
The festival that combines music, art, food and crafts is popular amongst wealthy Thai’s and barefoot western backpackers providing a unique mix of attendees.
This year the festival will be headlined by Canadian techno DJ Richie Hawtin and British hip-hop performer Roots Manuva.
Local crowds will probably give Khruangbin a warm welcome as the trio of Americans are famed for playing Thai Molam-inspired music.
Sushi fans are in for a treat as Morimoto Bangkok will be providing some top quality dishes among a collection of Thai street food venders who will also be in attendance.
It’s not only going to be awesome music that festival goers will be treated to as in between performances artists will be showing of their talents.
This year’s festival will feature a biomorphic alien creature created by artist-designer Leeroy New and a sanctuary of discovery and healing created by Californian-based artist Tigre Bailando.
The festival will take place in the fields of Siam Country Club and prices start from 4,000 baht per adult, children are free.
